The following changes have been made to the site on 7/30/2011. MOB version 3.2.

New Features

Chat Upgrade

The MyOnlineBand.com chat application has had a major upgrade. The upgrade includes the following features:

• New web services API that will allow 3rd party developers to create chat clients that will extend and enhance the experience. Documentation for the API coming soon.
• Private Messages - You can now start a private Chat session that may only be viewed by you and the selected person
• Band Chat - You can now have a private chat with just the members of your band.
• For modern web browser that support HTML 5 audio, an audio alert will sound when you get a new email or chat request.
• Send and watch youtube videos by pasting the youtube share link to the chat window
• The chat window will automatically stay open as you move from page to page
• You can now change your online status to appear offline using the chat options panel

Add to Favorites

You can now keep track and access your favorite artists, bands, and workspaces using our new "Favorites Feature"

• Floating toolbar on the bottom of each page makes it easy for you to access your favorites from any page on the site
• One click to add a page to your favorites
• Easily delete items from your favorites list

Paypal Donate button

We have removed the old "show your support" button that no one has ever clicked and replaced it with a Paypal donate button. This is for people who really love the site and want to help me pay the bills.

Bug Fixes

• Clicking the log out button will actually log you out (yea!)
• If you are replying to an email with a long subject line you will no longer get an error but subject line will be truncated
• Can no longer join the same band multiple times
