After listening a bunch of times, I think I was overdoing the sound effects a bit. Simplified it. I still have the intro guitar but only twice. Both times hard panned and low in the mix. I think now when the main riff kicks in it is way more impactful. Also did some clean up on the guitar so it does not sound like it is cut off when the riff kicks in.

Same overall mix as last one but spent some time working on the intro. I let the dialog of the creepy guy go on and did some touch up on the opening guitar riff. I think it was like a 2ms early and was getting slightly cut off.
Deleted this version and uploaded slightly updated version

Lowered the volume of sound effects in intro and added EQ to vocal to roll off low end.

I think I had the guitar way too loud in the last version. Drums are much defined in this version.
Messed around with EQ on Les Paul guitar track less lows more highs. On the bass I added a bit to the bottom. Lowered the vocals a a bit especially in the harmony section.

For the into, I added another bell hit right before Mr Creepy guy starts talking and a few heart beats and some scratching at lid of the coffin before the song kicks in.

Made a few small adjustments. Higher bit rate but applied high pass and low pass filters so only slightly larger file.

Had a little fun with the Halloween tape and added a few layers of it mixed with some samples from the song that fade in

I found this old 70s Halloween sound effects tape. Added part of it to the beginning. Also messed around with an alt take of the vocal.

Just listened on the headphones. Sounds great on them! All instruments are pretty clear. The bass is much more present now. You could try layering the vocals If you want more umph? Just a thought.
Ill pop in the truck on Monday when Im heading to work and blast it to see how the balance is there.
Great job otherwise!

Here is my first shot at the mix. I might try and see if I can get the vocals a bit heavier. Want to keep it melodic but I think it needs to be stronger. Also thinking of starting song off with a sound effect of someone throwing dirt on an open grave.

Heres the dry drums only part so you can work with it. Ill work on fattening the drums in the meantime.

Sounds really cool. Makes a huge difference over my original drum program.

Heres my version of the drums. Let me know what you think, like, dont like. They are pretty dynamic which is what I like to do but its your song so its up to you. I havent mixed the drums yet. They are just "out of the box" in terms of sound. Great song by the way. Was fun to do!
