Actually I wasn't thinking of combining them, I was only responding to your previous untitled epic comment LOL

I think it's brilliant! It's intended at the end of the previous section, correct? Not a waste of a Saturday night...lol!

I like it. Really cool sounds

Playing with a control processor on a Saturday night. Pathetic really....

This version has more of an open ending for adding whatever.

I am thinking we can use some live drumming on this. I have been on a Mahavishnu binge all week and can hear some Billy Cobham syncopated drummer shredding over this.

I'll see if I can make a version that will bleed into something else by removing the distinct ending.

Epic, lyricless tune #842...lol
10/26/2014 10:29:33 AM
Really amazing mix! To me this section is finished, but I can't help feel that it should lead into something with vocals. Maybe I need to write another 11 minute epic type tune....
10/26/2014 7:57:44 AM
This mix includes the mad thrashing.

Warm Gravy, everything is here if you want to work some of your production magic on the mix and master....

Thank you! Its great!

Here is the guitar alone. The guitar has a number of effects on it. I am using Native Instruments GuitarRig with its Skeamer, Noise Reduction, Gratifier on the vintage channel (emulates Mesa Boogie Rectifier), Pamamertic EQ, Cabinet Emulator, then a combo of their Psychedelay and Studio Reverb effects.

Just started adding stuff...interested to see how the thrashing goes with it.
10/15/2014 6:15:56 PM
It's perfect! Exactly what I was hearing in my head...

I think it is mostly A# phrygian but mixed in some pentatonics. Start off with a droning melody to set theme then just went a little nutz. Let me know if you like it.

Some frantic guitar thrashing during the drum loop before the synths kick in would be nice...
