Good luck! And remember... it's about loss and regret. (At least that's what I had going on in my head.) :)

This helps a lot guys!

Looks good so far
Have a look at
See if they suit

1:54 - 2:22 had some "oohh's and ahhh's" accompanying the music. The general idea as far as inflection is to match the intensity of the music.

This is just a structure idea to start with. Levels and timing aren't perfect, but that's not the goal right now. I guess we need more lyrics, eh?
10/31/2017 9:18:15 AM
Let me know how you would like to structure the rest of the song. There are some strong instrumental parts so I would need some guidance in how to arrange the lyrics around them. Also help with lyrics is appreciated. I just sang what came up spontaneously with no end-point in mind..as usual :-).

You nailed it! 100% ! Upload the seps dry and I'll put the parts that are done in place. Then we can go from there. Nice job !

Hi Warmgravy and Mike!
Took onboard all your comments and suggestions and decided to generate a new version using Warmgravy's version as reference. Unfortunately, some parts of the vocals were not audible enough for me so I filled in the blanks with my own creation :-) This is just a rough idea but before I continue working on this project I need some feedback from Warmgravy. I know that some song-types are not compatible with my voice so if you think that this is the case for this project then tell me. As much as I like this song...some thing are just not meant to be :-). Looking forward to your response!!

I love this song
The music is brilliant Warm Gravy, I go to bed with it in my head and wake up next morning with it still there
Beubi the vocals are great
So I tweaked the mix one more time
I know it does not use the full 6 mins plus of the instrumental that our friend Warm Gravy uploaded but as a derivative work it captures the beautiful melody from within it
I guess as a purist You can shudder at the chopping and changing of the original concept uploaded
The Beubi does a great job on the vocals
But I have rearranged his recording here and there
Hope he wont mind me doing this
So I rest my case regards to the latest arrangement,
As I say again Its a great song But if it offends or its not what is wanted I will remove it
Thanks for allowing me to participate on this project
Mike from Versewithfriends

Thanks Mike...me too! I'm gonna remove my awful voice from the project now. So bad!

Hope The Beubi brings the vocals to life for you. He can sing

You guys have at it. It was just an idea. Don't worry about it....really. You guys are doing great.

Hi WarmGravy. Hmmmmm, very different from what Versewithfriends and me came up with :-)
I had a quick browse through the work of wholetone and liked his work. However, I am NOT wholetone and am afraid that I can not make the song sound like him :-)
How do you want to proceed with this song? I don't mind if you want to stick to the original lyrics and melody line..just let me know. I also don't mind you saying if my voice/ideas do not fit with what you want with the song. I am not a singer either but if you want (and you send me the lyrics) I can have a go at it...up to you :-)

Bah! ...no link.

...Loose adaptation of lyrics and VERY loose melody. I'd really like the melody to remain somewhat intact. I can't imagine this song not having that melody in it somewhere. Tiffers1984 did vocals for a different musical version of this song. I'll see if I can post a link.

#1... I am NOT a singer. This is a loose adaptation of the original lyrics from wholetone. I always thought his lyrics/vocals were amazing. See what it inspires.
