Yeah...another digital band!
The original concept for The Emotikonz was born in 2007 as a non-animated comic strip band called The Hoods. A new comic was drawn every time a new song was finished, and hosted the band performing that specific song. Later on between '08 and '09, the concept was reconsidered with the introduction of an online comic idea known as the Bermuda Bros., and from that came the idea of a digital band popular with a more alternative sound and twist on emotion-based music--hence the name The Emotikonz. The characters of the band became their own characters, with lead singer Smiley, Shrug the bassist, Glomp the acoustic drummer, Heart the acoustic guitarist and female vocalist, and Rose the keyboardist. Since 2011, the band has added a host of new members, both living and animated, including the introduction of rappers Cameron "IceMayne" and Cassie, who feature on songs throughout the albums. Each album tells a story of the digital band's adventure to find the one place in the world where they fit in, and their chaotic encounters along the quest to find their place in the musical world. The journey is far from over, but we hope you enjoy the music created in its process!

Well, we have a big list of musical fans, among them is the Gorillaz of course, even though the idea for the band was born before I ever heard of them--and creepishly enough, our song Radio Rock (written originally in 2009) sounds identical to Gorillaz--Feel Good, Inc., even though I didn't hear about them until 2011. Scary, eh?

Really looking for a female vocalist, local if possible but not picky.
